Mini Brownie Kisses

After our baby photo shoot was canceled the other day, we had Hershey's Kisses in the house and no other chocolate. Not a good thing if you were wanting to save them until the reschedule! My teens and my husband were in the mood for dessert. I figure I can replace the Kisses before the next one. Here is what I came up with to satisfy the sweet desires.

Ingredients

1 Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge Brownies Mix

2 Eggs

3/4 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup water

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk together. I just whisked until smooth but the box instructions said approximately 50 times. I have to apologize that I did not count to see how many revolutions that I made. LOL I just mixed until there were no visible lumps and it looked like chocolate brownie batter.

Spray my mini muffin pan with oil to avoid sticking. I used 1 tablespoon of batter into each cup on the pan. I did this so the muffins would be alike in size for even cooking time. Put the pan in the oven for 12 minutes.

While the brownies were hot I put the unwrapped kisses on top and pressed down slightly. I then put them back in the oven for 1 minute. Watch carefully. The chocolate melts quickly and you do not want to have a mess of completely melted kisses.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a baking rack. I had to use a butter knife around the edges to get them to pop out of the muffin pan. You could use the paper liners to keep from having to do this but I did not have any.

Let stand for 5 minutes to let the chocolate cool before eating. Serve warm. Made 36 mini brownie kisses.
