Spent yesterday with my husband at his gallery, Sabot Images. He was shooting some products in one corner and I was surfing the Internet finishing one of my blog posts. To my surprise, my husband looks to his right and said, “Honey did you take those pictures off the wall?” NO! Someone had the audacity to climb over the top of our walls and take two pictures off our wall. Hopefully if someone gets two Louisville skyline pictures for Christmas they will realize they were stolen.

I did get productive yesterday and took some texture photos that I wanted to share with everyone. You are welcome to download them and use them as you want. I am trying to get a collection together so I will not have to purchase the background textures anymore. I love istockphoto.com and purchase from them often but I am looking to build my own personal library of textures and objects.

Here is a picture of my daughter shot by Ed, my husband, that I have been playing with textures to give the photo an antique look. Hopefully I will put together a tutorial soon to show you step by step how I accomplished this look.
